Other scams (interpol scams, fake virus...)

There are less common scams that show great ingenuity on the part of the scammers.

For example :

  • The "Interpol scam" : Scammers usurp the identity of police authorities to commit their misdeeds.
  • Fake virus scam : an adware makes you believe that your computer is down for you to fall into a scam devised by unscrupulous technical assistance.
  • Hidden subscription scams : you think you are doing a deal by spending a small amount of money on a good or service, except that in the end, a sum of money is taken from your bank account every month.
  • There are many others : hacking, immigration scams...

Anyway, you have to denounce them as soon as you meet them using the reporting form.
