| Scam contents | the person posted on my son's school FB page for parents and said his daughter died, when i reached out to give my condolences, he responded and also said he can ship me the playstation 5 i just have to pay shipping. He asked me to send money to ship me a playstation 5 but he said to send it via venmo for $45 then said after said Fedex was charging $150 and since i couldn't send via Venmo they said i can use Paypal and told me to send the remaining $105. both were told to send as friends and family. Person then said that Fedex was charging additional $60 the next day and would give me cash upon receipt of the Playstation 5 and after much discussion, they said they would cancel and refund my money. i cancelled and tried getting my money back with venmo/paypal and my credit card co but this person is gone from FB now as well as messenger |
