| Scam contents | Fake cryptocurrency exchange impersonating Catex (a known exchange). The domain 97ee3.catex.at is a phishing subdomain designed to look like the legitimate Catex platform. Classified as phishing by Bright Data's security network. Victim testimony from Scamdoc: after depositing €33,000, the platform assigned an "analyst" who promised profits. When the victim requested a withdrawal, the platform refused and closed the account citing fake terms and conditions. The victim never received any funds back. This is a classic fake exchange scam: luring victims with promises of AI-managed profits, then stealing deposits. |
