I received a suspicious email claiming to be from “Chime Pay” using the Gmail address chimepay.bus@gmail.com. The message falsely stated I had a pending payment and asked me to call an agent and send $500 to resolve a fake “network upgrade” issue.

This appears to be a phishing scam using Chime’s name and branding to trick users into sending money.
