| Scam contents | Sand Lover Parts SA AKA Tim Hodge advertised auto parts. Advertisers on Facebook. He said he had sourced a Dahatsu Terios nudge bar and Side Steps for me but need urgent payment of R2730.00 to secure the goods. I did EFT the money into his Tyme bank account after receiving an invoice from him and sent the proof of payment. He promised to send me a tracking number by the next day. When I asked if the good were secured and payment reflecting, he did not respond. I then did a search on Facebook and saw that there were warnings of him being a scammer. | Comment / Review | This appears to be a serial scammer and it is frustration that he has not been apprehended and charged by SAPS. He therefore continues to commit fraud unhindered. I did contact my bank to try and reverse the funds and they will attempt to do so.They have also provided me with a fraud case number and told me to also report the fraud to the SAPS.
