Comment / ReviewThey advertise bank repossessed cars on auction. They ask that you deposit an amount 15% of the car you are interested in. They send an invoice and everything looks ligit. The address given is 44 Voortrekker Road, Vereeniging. I was lucky that I delayed depositing the money because I wanted to see whether that was not a scam. Arriving in Vereeniging, no one has ever heard of that name "Gulf Auto Auctions" all the car dealership do not know them. They are not at the address either. They told me the auction is happening at another place not the 44 Voortrekker. They do not reveal the address. I went to the Police Station to report this as they had in their possession a copy of my drivers licence and do not know what they will do with it. They also had my address as these were requested to create the invoice. I wish these scammers can be reported on the Hawks and be arrested. It is a big syndicate and we need them behind bars.
