Scam contentsThis person made a comment on Facebook in the group J'aime le francais. I saw it was apparently a girl in Boulogne Sur Mer. We go quite often and wanted a friend there. She was quite pretty. She then told me her long standing boyfriend had left her but I seemed to be a nice person, asked for my photo and so on. She wanted me to go on to Hangouts and almost at once her Facebook page disappeared. She said she was a hairdresser in the town but it was closed at present. However a slight question came into my mind when she said she didnt know a large well-known patisserie which is in the town centre.

To cut a long story short, she asked for a service from me as she and her mother had no money or food. She wanted me to lend her 250 euros but to send it to her neighbour's account as hers was overdrawn. I knew at once I had been duped.
Comment / ReviewI nearly fell for a scammer. Whilst it could all be true, surely the French State are making provision for people whose job is suspended.
