| Scam contents | I ordered a pocket guitar as a Christmas present for my daughter on December 13, 2018 from an ad on Facebook. The money was deducted from my PayPal account immediately. I received a confirmation that the item had shipped, but I was never able to track the item as stated in an email. It was always in transit. It did not arrive in time for Christmas. My daughter waited with great anticipation for it to arrive once I showed her the video with the ad on Facebook. When it did arrive she was very disappointed. She is an accomplished guitar player (and I am a retired music educator) and we both agreed that this "pocket guitar" is a piece of junk. It can't be tuned because the strings are all the same length. The whole point of any musical instrument is that different notes vibrate at a different wave length which is impossible on this "toy". Also, the section where strumming should occur has fake plastic strings, therefore, you cannot hear what you are playing which is the whole point of practicing chords for precision and tuning. This item is useless for a real musician. |
| Comment / Review | I Googled the website reply@emailcxs.com and a number of SCAM articles came up. There was no instructions for returning the item as stated on the card that came with the item. Plus it is impossible to write on the card because the space provided would take less than a 6 pt font size. It would not be readable at all.

i ordered a wood pocket hole kit.i received only the body without drill bit and screws and dowls that was to be part of the kit.i am having trouble getting in touch with them.

Chinese company selling poor quality Chinese knock-offs.
I ordered a pair of pants in size L (34-36" waist) based on their FB ad. I received very poor quality pants that bore little resemblance to what was advertised. There were labelled size L but were 32" waist at most.
They admitted there was a "misleading problem " in the ad and offered small discounts. After 6 weeks of constant emailing I eventually got a full refund after escalating to a PayPal claim. PayPal also refunded the return shipping costs to China - even though goods were sent from NSW Australia - as SDDF refused to do so.
