| Scam contents | Scam Phone Call Report Date of Call: 6 June 2025 Time of Call: 13:54 Language: Russian Caller’s Name (as presented): Ekaterina Oswald Claimed Organization: Interpol, Lyon Office Phone Number: +33614840075 Description of the Call: I received a suspicious phone call from a woman speaking in Russian. She introduced herself as Ekaterina Osvald, claiming to be a senior officer at Interpol (старший офицер Интерпола), allegedly working from their office in Lyon, France. She asked if I knew a person named Anton Bragin, who, according to her, had visited Credit Agricole Bank in Lyon and supposedly presented a power of attorney in my name to take out a loan. She began to explain that this situation could involve financial fraud. She then mentioned that she would like to invite me to their office in Lyon, apparently to resolve the issue. However, as the conversation progressed and I started asking for more details, she abruptly ended the call without further explanation. |
