Comment / ReviewPerson pretends to be interested in the product you are selling on Gumtree or Junk mail. He pretends to make an immediate EFT and sends someone to collect. They never make payments.

      Same happened to me, this guy is a criminal he bought a concole from me on facebook marketplace, and sent out a fake proof of payment via EFT. He then gets uber drivers to collect and deliver his STOLEN goods.

      Same company name, different Whatsapp number showed interest in my used machinery on 2025/01/01. No discussion yet re payment of R10k+, meetup, viewing, collection etc. Using the No. +27 64 0*1 70*9

      Same company name, same modus operandi - tried to steal my laptop, but thanks to this Scamwatcher page I managed to block him off in time. Thank you for that.
      The ad was placed on Junk Mail in August 2024, his enquiry came March 5th 2025...
