Scam contentsI put my car up on Facebook marketplace and they had a Facebook account from 2012, they must have bought it from some kind of site. They feigned interest in buying my car so I followed along to see what they would do. They also used the fake PayPal email paypalbusinesshelpcenter@aol.com note the aol address. The actual scam they tried pulling was sending emails from the address above saying that to send more than 4000 dollars in a PayPal account you need the person sending you the money to send an additional $599.50 oddly specific. They then tried to get me to "refund" the 599 with my own money. I'm trying to save up for uni. This scamming piece of shit was trying to take from a highschooler. What. A. Bitch. Also funny part was that after I called them out on messenger they tried sending me another email on the "PayPal" account telling me to pay the 599 or get banned. Like c'mon I just called them out and they pull that shit.

I see how they get people with the fake emails if they aren't paying attention.
I think they either stole a bank account or their real name is Tracy Marie because that was the name in the PayPal account.
They are also American or at least the bank account is.
Also they couldn't even keep consistent with the amount of money owed. Lol
