Scam contentsAgreed to buy a painting through ebay then asked if i could include a $400 ebay gift card that he would pay me for by adding that amount plus $100 for the inconvenience to the cost of the painting. Then tryed to get me to send another $600 also in ebay gift cards claming that he sent to much money. An email supposedly from ebay claimd that i could not get paid till i sent him the $600 in ebay gift cards.
Comment / ReviewAll the emails looked extremely legitimate and very convincing. With all the things you'd expect to see in an email from ebay.

      Tried to scam me on by sending an offer for a product on ebay then said to dm him on phone number and that he would send me 300 for the product and another 300 as an ebay gift card and $50 for shipping then sent a fake email to me which i inspected thoroughly and found it to be a fake one because it did not appear in my ebay inbox.

      Just be careful if its an email from "ebay" and isnt in your ebay messages inbox it is fake.

        He did the same thing to me. I reported to Ebay, but see that he is still a valid member. So sad because it appears that he does this to only sellers with little or no feedback.
