| Scam contents | The person put an apartment for rent on the site leboncoin.fr He asks you for your personal information such as last income statements, tax statements, identification, rent related documents. Then when you want to set up a visit to see the apartment, he asks you to make a security deposit using Neosurf tickets. Once you reply that you don't want to do it, he says OK and deletes the announcement. He has our personal documents by email and we don't know what he will do with them! |
| Comment / Review | We are seriously worried!!! He gives you a story that seems legitimate with a lot of photos of an apartment. His story is that he is a father of a previous student that is leaving her apartment and therefore he needs someone to rent it in her place. He even sends us an image of his identification card, but obviously it's likely not the real person behind the screen.
