There is a sure fire way to identify the scams. Usually, someone will send you a message with an email address to contact them. These people are scammers. And,

Scam contents	Claims to have an apartment for rent in Brussels, says he has moved to UK (IP address is in USA - 74.125.141.27 IP address). Wants up front payment to the bank account of an "agent" so you can see apartment - fully refunded if you "don't like it."
Comment / Review	I was taken in by a similar scam and this is exactly the same formula and even wording. Same person/people using different IDs to scam apartment-hunters out of down payments.
