| Scam contents | A Telegram account using the name European Bitcoin and the username @european_bitcoins contacted me in connection with the supposed return and delivery of investment funds. On 30 July 2025, the account claimed that cash collectors would deliver my money. They then demanded an advance payment of EUR 2,500 to give the delivery 'special priority' and supposedly deliver the funds that evening. This is a suspected advance-fee and cryptocurrency recovery scam. No legitimate financial institution or cash-in-transit company was identified, and no verifiable licence or official company details were provided. |
| Comment / Review | I did not pay the requested EUR 2,500. The account used Telegram and promised delivery of my money by collectors only after an additional advance payment. I advise victims of investment fraud not to send this account any money, cryptocurrency, fees, taxes or commissions. Preserve the messages as evidence and report the account to Telegram and the police.
