| Scam contents | Have I been scammed? I met a woman who texted me by accident. We bonded very quickly. She is rich and knows how to handle money. She told me she would teach me to bid on gold. I thought we were doing it through Goldmoney, which seems to be a legitimate site. We earned $540,000.00. First they wanted me to pay out of pocket for Canadian taxes $53,000.00. Then they had to do a background check that they wanted a $71,000.00 deposit on. They added it to my account. So we tried again to remove the money into my checking account and there was a mistake in the address. A letter “O” replaced a number “0”. So now they want $110,000.00 for an arbitration fee in order for me to get my money out. If I pay it I will be completely wiped out. If I don’t, I lose the money I’ve already given them, plus the money I invested. And I don’t get the money we earned bidding. |
| Comment / Review | Goldmoneyweb wants a lot of money for holding you money. They say it’s all according to regulations. But it seems excessive to me.
