These are often with urgent language, claiming you overpaid or owe money, then directing you to a fake support number to trick you into revealing personal info or sending money to "fix" the fake issue; PayPal will never call you asking for sensitive info, so ignore calls/emails with urgency, don't click links or call numbers in suspicious messages, verify activity by logging into your real PayPal account directly, and report scams to phishing@paypal.com
