Scam contentsI made a purchase for a piece of luggage on a site named Vinnies, I thought that this was a St. Vincent de Paul site. I authorized a purchase for $18 for the product +5 dollars shipping through PayPal somehow during the authorization on PayPal, my purchase was hijacked and $710 was charged onto PayPal. It then increased to $781 on PayPal. I have a pending transaction on my bank saying that funds have been authorized for $710. I never authorized a purchase for $710 let alone $781. As at this point, PayPal says that I authorize the purchase. I am going to dispute this, but I know that I did not make the purchase.
Comment / ReviewI also have screenshots from my purchase and one saying my purchase failed that I had authorized.
The charge is pending in my bank at this point and I can’t file fraud until they are withdrawn. PayPal messaged saying it was an authorized transaction.
