| Scam contents | My router when out, so I called what I thought was Netgear. I specifically asked the person on the phone if they were Netgear and they said YES. I confirmed this several times on the phone. They sold me a lifetime premium plan for security on router for for $299.99. They gave me the direct number to their prmium plan 1-888-087-9747 with my Reference No 4110291. When I received their email confirming the transaction, it DID NOT say Netgear. I notified my credit card company and disputed the charge. |
| Comment / Review | This company are true scammers and faudulantly state that they are Netgear. They are NOT Netgear. I disputed the charge with my credit card company and called the "real" Netgear who confirmed that I did not have an account for router security protection with. The Netgear person told me my first clue is that no one gives you lifetime support.
