| Scam contents | Adnan Soojeri runs an aircraft maintenance company, Aircraft Engineers Ltd. Currently based at Fife Airport, but was at Prestwick and before that at Edinburgh Airport. Soojeri was thrown out of Prestwick airport after multiple complaints of shoddy workmanship, overcharging and claiming unneccesary work was required. Multiple complaints have been filed with the CAA claiming inflated bills for tens of thousands. See below for the first in a series of aircraft crashes where Soojeri was the engineer. |
| Comment / Review | Soojeri was investigated by the AAIB after Edinburgh Air Charter Flight 3W was a charter flight from Glasgow to Aberdeen crashed when an engine failed during takeoff at Glasgow Airport. The aircraft then crashed short of the runway, killing 8 of the 11 people on board. The aircraft was a Cessna 404 Titan Ambassador III, operated by Edinburgh Air Charter and owned by Fraggle Leasing Limited. G-ILGW had been manufactured by Cessna in 1980, and at the time of the accident had registered 6,532 operating hours. The Air Accident Investigation found that Soojeri was the last engineer to work on the aircraft.
