| Scam contents | They contact you with false promises of work at home through advertisements. You will be working for a UK company that does translation and data transcription work. If you accept, they send you a sample to be translated and claim they'll pay a certain amount per page. After the finished work is delivered, to see if you are approved to work for them, they say they'll pay you the agreed-upon amount for this test and put you on their payroll for the upcoming projects, they say it is 60 british pounds per page and the test was 50 pages to be translated from english to spanish. To make the transfer they need for you to pay a fee that must be paid, which is refundable. the fee is for verification purposes so they can send the payment to your PayPal account. After you pay the fee which is about $200 USD - which you have to send via Bitcoin on CashApp, they don't send you the salary they promised or refund you the fee you just sent. |
