Scam contents	This is a variant of the Advance fee scam. A fake job is offered (usually outside the freelance platform) they claim they have a remote job for you to do with a generous high payout. - img to text - proofreading - translation - artwork or logo design etc They often have their victims do the work They often create fake websites or pretend to be a big company. When it comes time to get paid, the scammer directs the victim to their "finance hr manager" or some BS. This often has the victim go to a fake financial platform, where they claim the payment is on the fake site. When the victims try to get the (fake) money out, they are hit with upfront fees to pay the scammer. The scammer is relying on the sunk cost fallacy, as the victim has done the work that could take hours- the victims is more prone to pay the fake fee.
