Comment / ReviewSomeone I met online said he was sending me gifts, he sent me photos of shoes, electronics and jewelery and also said he put money Euro's in the package for me. On Saturday 04/11/23 I received an email from the mentioned courier that the shipment had been taken by anti money laundering unit and I must call the officer. When I called he said I have to produce and anti money laundering certificate. I asked him I can find the certificate and he said I must pay the R18000.00 to the courier and they will clear the matter for me, and I found this to be very concerning. The courier also said I must pay for the delivery and VAT and the account they provide is in an individuals name and not the company name and the banking details are not included in the invoice which is also very suspicious.
