| Scam contents | I ordered a 15" HP laptop from wineelseca.com. com on September 7th. Order 1197 Subsequent email IDed the order as: Order No: 202309080546237281228019000 In their email, they gave a highlighted blue link: https://xps.customercare-vip.com/index/index/service/token/009dd8b2b571421be16c9d1acf2de94116b6 to track my order. That link said that the package was on its way, via carrier: Star-Wish Then email order payment confirmation info With this blue link: https://xps.customercare- vip.com/index/index/service/token/009d d8b2b571421be16c9d1acf2de94116b6 Debit was to appear as 'restsalt' Subsequent email sent me a tracking number to m.17Track.net/EN That track started on Sept 13th in China. Then to Los Angeles, Amarillo, Dallas, Fort Worth, North Richland Hills. In the evening, I walked to my post box. There was a small package with a USPS bar code. I opened the packaging. In a clear plastic case is what looks like a watch or a 'fitness bracelet'. So I'm a victim of a 'bait and switch fraud' Millard L. Stephens |
| Comment / Review | Started out as an ad on Facebook. After ordering, saw similar product on Amazon ad. Because so many hands were 'in the cookie jar', don't whether the origin of the 'bait and switch fraud was either domestic (USA) or foreign (China)
