Comment / Review	I had a call from a guy saying he's from O2, and said there's a promotion open to O2 customers. He sent me a text message to prove that he's really from O2. The messages he sent read Be alert to fraud NEVER share this code including with O2 staff. Help us protect your O2 account. To retrieve your My O2 account, enter code 993162. This message is almost the same as what I usually receive from O2 so I was convinced the person calling works for O2. He asked me for the answer to my security question so he obviously was able to access my O2 account. He offered 40% discount on my account balance but a fee needed to be paid immediately and he asked for a card payment That's when I realised that it's a fraudulent call. I told him I didn't have my wallet with me that day so he said he'd call back the next day to collect. I called O2 to confirm my suspicion and they confirmed that call was a scam. When I went to My O2, I noticed that they changed my username and password. So I changed it all including the security question. Today, the same person called me back to obtain my credit card details and I told him to leave me alone because I know that he is a scammer. He used telephone number +44 20 3769 4054 this time. And by the way, they scammer had an Indian accent. We all need to be vigilant and be alert of these scammers and fraudsters.
