| Scam contents | This website claimed to check validity of gift cards, but what it does is actually take the code and collect the code themselves. They will say the code of gift cards are invalid. This forced the victim to get a refund and get another code which victim will check the validity of the code again… which, as predicted, will come out as invalid again. |
| Comment / Review | The victim who is sending this to the unknown scammer (who insisted to be paid by gift cards) will then receive an instruction to verify the validity of the gift cards in this website redroom.re. This website will say the code from the gift card is invalid. The victim will go back to where he/she bought it from and ask for a refund and the scammer will ask for another code which the victim will buy and the victim will go back to redroom.re to verify and it will come out invalid this will happen again and again making the victim spending money on gift cards that RedRoom will suck the fund out of those gift cards.
