Offer of iPhone as compensation for failed order in return for a Euro 1.00 subscription. Seemingly a genuine offer but the following day my Visa was debited with C$118.75

I don't know about canadian laws, but since you look to have never sent consent to such a debit, you may first inquire about insurance from your bank and maybe filing a complaint.
Did the offer mentionned the company and the order number that supposedly failed, from a company you definetely ordered something ? If not the bank may decline the insurance for reckless behaviour.

I have also been taken in . I phoned this so called company a women just kept saying you agreed to a membership contract . Have received NO details of any membership . it is a scam
