The reviews and comments are concerning the allegedly fraudulent activities of an individual or entity operating under the name Sarocha Tarawong, with an email address sarochatarawong@gmail.com and various phone numbers, primarily from Thailand. The individual is claimed to be offering numerous products at enticingly low prices through Alibaba, including but not limited to Pet Bottle Scrap, A4 photocopy paper, frozen Mackerel, surgical masks, and digital thermometers. Some of the common characteristics across these offers include attractive discounts, prompt delivery times, and a 50% deposit requirement against a proforma invoice.
One user "Koman" raised a query about the legitimacy of a paper order while another "Wei" also questioned if the whole situation was a scam, since he was confirming an order with the said entity. Some other users shared similar concerns about their dealings with the individual. Despite the appearance of legitimate trade offers, a majority of the reviewers and commentators suspect this could be a scam due to the unusually low prices, and the insistence on a 50% deposit payment.
Users have shared useful information including a change of phone number by the suspected scammer and different product offers, including Mung Beans and canned Mackerel Fish.
