| Scam contents | The comment looks harmless: just another victim sharing good news. Read it twice — it is a recruitment pitch for a paid "fund recovery" service. Account name: "Made Noel". Contact email: madenoel68@gmail.com. Posted, word for word: "Sorry to hear that. I also fall into romance scam, I lost a lot of money pretending to someone else, we tracked him down and recover my assets. If you need help reach out to me through my gmail, if you lost a lot." "I also encountered recovery scammers after I was originally scammed. They tried to take advantage of me again by promising to recover my money, but they weren't successful. If you lost a lot and willing to get your money back, send a dm to madenoel@gmail.com with the necessary information about…" The "recovery team" is a paid service with a fixed script: first an advance fee, then ID and bank statements. The funds never come back — the fees just add up. If you have already lost money to a fake investment platform, do not pay anyone who promises to get it back. No legitimate recovery asks for a fee in advance. Keep your evidence, talk to your bank and report the case. |
