| Comment / Review | In 2021, I was scammed by a fake website called tiklike.life, which claimed users could earn money by watching TikTok videos and submitting screenshots. I was first contacted on TikTok by someone pretending to be friendly, who introduced the site. I was required to deposit funds into a fake account in order to “unlock” the money I supposedly earned. I transferred a total of about $4000 via ATM in Japan to several bank accounts. The scammers blocked me after that. I reported the domain to GoDaddy and also went to the police, but no action could be taken. This scam is still targeting people, so I want to warn others.
