| Scam contents | I’ve been in crypto since 2017, and this was my first scam. an elaborate scheme that cost me $300K. @Ur84NKriptoN approached me on Twitter, offering access to exclusive investment deals through a private “investment DAO” linked to Polychain. The group included Alex.kauffman (Discord), @Ur84NKriptoN (Twitter), @ChadMongman (Discord), and @OsmiumAlpha (Discord). If you follow them, unfollow now to prevent more scams. There were red flags—most members had no social presence or mutuals, and Flurdao wasn’t listed anywhere. But the group seemed real, discussing deals, meetups, and investment strategies. I sent $100K for Babylon on 11/22/2024 and another $100K for DeBank on 11/26/2024. Soon after, the Discord disappeared, and they claimed a leak required all members to pay a $100K deposit. I hesitated but ended up sending another $75K before realizing I’d been scammed. Thankfully, Cipher-Restore helped recover a large chunk of my stolen assets. For anyone affected by similar scams, I recommend reaching out to them. Stay safe, and always trust your gut. |
