Message saying daughter had dropped phone on loo and could not pay money that had to be paid today could we help. The wording did notsound like my daughter but i almost helped.

Got Text pretending to be my daughter with new number due to old phone got wet. Made mention that they were stressing out because they couldn’t pay bills via internet etc. to see if I could help. Maybe part of Optus leak as she was told her data had been accessed a few months back
