| Comment / Review | I received a call from Adam Baland of Vax Consulting telling me they had recovered a large sum from an FX fraud I got briefly involved with. The sum he quoted was far more than I had sacrificed and he couldn't tell me how or why his company were involved. He sent me a web address and login and asked me to click on the web address. Being highly suspicious, I copied it and pasted into my browser. It came up straight away with scam alerts. I used the information there to quiz him further. He started talking faster and coming up with endless reasons why some companies get such reports. I asked if he was part of a bitcoin company, which he did not deny. I asked what their charges are - 5% of recovered funds after payment, he said. I told him I'm not interested, stopped the call and blocked the number.

Got the same company on the phone twice now. Once they called with a phone number from Estonia and the other time with a Belgian number. Lady on the phone basically confirmed that they were criminals when I confronted them with some questions. And then she hung up, probably to call a different person who is sadly naive enough to trust them.
