| Comment / Review | Received an automated voicemail stating that $299.95 was going to be debited from my account unless i wanted to apply for it to be "refunded". I called the landline back and was told it was paypal and that i had tried to purcahse an apple gift card. I said that i did not authorise this and would ne reporting it to police immediately, and requested a copy of something via email to provide to the investigating officer. The person tried to tell me that the email would not arrive if someone else had access and then had all my personal details provided without prompting. I explained that my identity was stolen last year and that there is an ongoing investigation by victoria police, so that i would be reporting the call immediately so that the police officer could track the IP address and locate the origin of the call. I was immediately told an email would be received 'shortly' and thanked for my time before the call was ended. I could hear several people speaking in the background regarding "paypal payments". I have not used or accessed my paypal account in years and do not believe it is accessible or even set up for purchases. The number was identified on my Samsung as 'potential fraud' but only after i hung up.
