A suspected scam involving a tracking number, US6896901185421, has been reported. The scam appears to involve text messages claiming to be from USPS, stating that there are issues with the recipient's shipping address. The text message directs the recipient to a suspicious URL, such as uspscliient.sale/update.trackingnumber or usps.srl/Update, which may compromise their personal information.
Many individuals have received this text message and noted that the tracking number is the same in each case, raising suspicions. Some users report that the links provided in the text message lead to the website tech4islands.com, which appears to be unrelated to USPS.
If you receive a text message with this tracking number, or any similar message claiming to be from USPS, be cautious and do not click on the provided link. Verify the authenticity of the message by contacting USPS directly or checking the tracking number on their official website.

Just got the same exact message
I previewed the website on my phone but did not open the site. When I click and hold on the url: https://usps.srl/Update the url preview shows the url to be: tech4islands.com
This is definitely a scam. I have a package that is on the way, so for a moment I thought this text is legit. Always look for red flags.
Here’s the message from: +1 (864) 721-6304

My scam text message came from 630-381-5413 and was also identified as tech4islands.com. At the bottom of the text, it had the USPS logo - very official looking - and "Legal Information" followed by choices like "privacy policy", "terms of use", etc.
None of the links worked.

They are nothing but thieves and liars. Several different websites along with different states and different phone numbers. They offered to sell me a damned prescription for $250. Wisj someone would take them down.
