It used the Post Office link local-service assist.com I was expecting a parcel so I gave my card details as they said there was £1.20 to pay. What can I do?

Hello, you can contact your bank and inform them of what happened. You might have to block the card.

This happened to me exactly the same. But when asked for my card number I became suspicious so backed out. Then I noticed that the text came from a phone number and not a recognised business. Surely if it was a genuine text from Royal Mail then the text would come from “Royal Mail”. Then I thought since when did Royal Mail stop putting chits through the letterbox saying that it was left with a neighbour or to collect it from the mail hub etc? This is defiantly a scam.
