| Comment / Review | Scam message that was received! Number related to an EBT scam Electronic Benefit TransferScam! There can be skimming devices that can steal the data from your card and give it to scammers. Phising messages may be used to gain acces to accounts by saying benefits have been stopped. Once the pin number is verified on line the scammers can use the code to make purchases online.

Connecticut Department of Social Services message to call 1-888-949-2788

This message that was using the Connecticut Social Services as a cover has been going around. The authorites have been alerted, stay aware and know that the scammers are aimed at getting access to computers, personal information and even bank accounts for the sole purpose of gaining money on a contiued basis!
