Received a call from 281-816-7560. The number was blocked and received a text from the same number which include a document requesting a return call to 1-888-523-1980. The message included a Final Notice threatening with legal action.

Scammer called said I had a complaint filed against me from a credit card company. GE Banks for a Visa Credit card 2009 and I owed over $3000 dollars. I never had a credit card of any type during this time. The scammers not only called me but my husband as well. I checked my credit history and verifying no such debt. I also reported it.

They have been calling my family members and providing personal info (my property, my birth date...) when they speak with them. Gave a reference number for me to use when I return the call. I blocked my number and called back and the phone rang and rang. After 8th ring, someone picked up and said "you are second inline, please hold" then placed me on hold. I hung up. Not sure who this is.
