On March 5, 2026, the Washington State Department of Financial Institutions (DFI) issued an alert stating that a platform calling itself “Coinlion” appeared to impersonate the legitimate Coin Lion, LLC and used trillioninfo.com among its domains. According to the reported complaint, an investor was instructed to send increasingly large amounts of money and later was told to deposit additional funds to “unlock” withdrawals. The reported loss was approximately $858,000. DFI explicitly states that the reported facts and losses have not been independently verified. ❌ Do not deposit money or cryptocurrency. ❌ Never pay additional fees or deposits to unlock withdrawals. ❌ Do not trust unsolicited investment contacts claiming to represent major financial firms. 🔐 If you already sent funds, preserve transaction IDs, wallet addresses, screenshots, and all communications. Stay alert. Verify any investment platform and the identity of the company behind it through official regulators before sending funds.
