The Washington State Department of Financial Institutions (DFI) issued an official alert identifying Bitinvests Exchange / bitinvests.vip as suspected fraud. The website is no longer active. DFI reported a $23,440 loss involving alleged recovery fees after an initial investment scam. Independent checks also gave the domain a 0 trust score, citing hidden ownership, a very young domain, and an invalid SSL certificate. ❌ Do not send money or crypto. ❌ Never pay “recovery fees,” taxes, or charges to unlock funds. ❌ Never share passwords, OTPs, private keys, or wallet recovery phrases. 🔐 If you already sent funds, save transaction IDs, wallet addresses, screenshots, and all communications.
