| Scam contents | You put money into your wallet to trade, and then when you try to withdraw funds to your bank account or other wallet they want you to pay tax up front to have any of your funds released. They do not release the funds if you pay the “tax”. |
| Comment / Review | Coerced to put my crypto funds into mtexcoin wallet to trade by a man called Charles Slovic who would appear to also run the assistance chat for the website. Once finished trading, and you try to withdraw your funds they freeze your account and request you pay 20% tax up front to their wallet (you are unable to use frozen money so have to use other monies from somewhere else) on the amount in your wallet to withdraw. They do not unfreeze your account when you pay the tax. It’s also not a requirement to pay tax up front. They are scamming people.

Unfortunately this is the crypto investment scam modus operandi. The money you gave them is gone and any promises of recovery or unfreezing are bogus.

I tried to take money out they say I have to go to Washington from Australia in order to use my money in the wallet to pay tax

I’ve been scammed I need help
