This is a “recovery scam”. Recovery scammers will claim to be in contact with, or will claim to be, “experts” who can recover your assets after you were scammed. If you initiate contact with them, they’ll soon begin to give excuses as to why they need money to proceed with the recovery - purchasing tools/equipment, mailing/shipping fees, paying employees/assistants, etc. If you give them money, they’ll either give more excuses to try to get more money, or they’ll simply disappear with your money.
If you were scammed, please be aware of “recovery scammers” - anyone who claims that they or someone they know can “recover [your] assets” is lying and trying to scam you. The only entities that can *possibly* help you in this manner are your bank/financial institution, services like PayPal, or your debit/credit card provider. Nobody else has the means to recover anything for you - don’t believe anyone who tries to convince you otherwise.
