| Scam contents | Back in December of 2022, I received an email that I won a Yetti Cooler Backpack from Dick's Sporting Goods and asked me to pay $4.95 for the shipping. After I paid for the shipping, some days later they charged my account multiple times under several different shell companies. A Harmony Swim, Harmony Cricket, and Rise North Compass. I never received the cooler backpack and found out they are in no way related to Dick's Sporting Goods. I have received several of these messages form several different email accounts via a larger Salesforce account. They're actually using a CRM to help them pull off this scam. They charged my account three times. Once for $4.95, then $99.99, and finally another $99.99. I had to report the charges to my bank. Luckily I have a good bank and they reversed the charges. |
