| Scam contents | There are at least 2 issues that just happened, and I'm not exactly sure how this will play out. I was on the Condensem trying to purchase a hand-held vacuum cleaner. Issue 1: I kept indicating on the UI that I wanted to pay with my debit card; however, the UI kept trying to make me use PayPal. I finally completed the payment specifying the card, however, the charge still appeared in PayPal with the money going to inckwp, Co.,Ltd, which I never saw on the UI. Issue 2: When I submitted my payment, the charge was for $43.96. However, the charge in PayPal showed that an additonal $10.99 was added. |
| Comment / Review | In the past, when I used PayPal to make a payment (via another bank), my account in the other bank was hit with fraudulent chanrges that caused me to have to get new cards with the bank. I considered the contiguity of events as a coincidence. I am fairly certain my IPhone is virus-free so I am not associating this with the use of PayPal. PayPal needs to go the way of SVB. I need to watch things closely to see how much more crap will fall out here with this morning's problem.
