Scam contents | On YouTube I saw an ad promoting a survey by Cadburys with a reward of Cadburys goodies for taking part. The survey is very basic, and after completion you are asked for £2 contribution for postage. However on completing your details you are in fact subscribing to ? marketing services from boosthesmm.com and agreeing to a subscription fee of up to £40+ per month. In small font you are informed there is a 5 day grace period to cancel subscription. |
Comment / Review | Having informed Cadburys (Mondelez International) they confirmed they had no commercial or other links to these sites. Using a support link on boosthesmm.com to complain, a reply came from educonline.com, who stated they were a portal to sign up to a five day trial with a partner program at boosthesmm.com. Unless you cancelled, you would be given a choice of services costing from E19 -E90. Boosmm.com and boosthesmm.com seem to be URLs registered in Iceland and educonline.com in Korea, though one email reply from them was in French.
