| Scam contents | Got a text from Mr. Richard Lewis from CareerBuilder Team. And then they always asked to reply with (Got it). I thought this was really odd. They asked me if I was qualified for a number of jobs which weren't even something I do, then they asked me about salary, and it was way low. I told them my hourly, and they said they could do 10% more. Then they told me to get SKYPE because they don't do phone calls. Another red flag to me. If you can't call me, why Skype?? I played along with with and actually got Mr. Monessa Harris on Skype (live.cid.4076b40b3a48026). He was direct and after a couple of minutes, I called BS after finding his name on a SCAM site. |
| Comment / Review | I asked me what I was qualified to do, and gave me a number of jobs, but NO requirements to those jobs. Big red flag to me. Eventually, after a couple of minutes, I told him this was a SCAM and if he couldn't call me and talk with me, this was wasting my time. He told me this was not a SCAM, but I told him, this is not the way interviews go, and they do not happen within 2 minutes of meeting someone on TEXT, then Skype for an interview. I told him if he could call me and talk with me I would believe him, but he didn't. It was a pretty easy read to understand this was a scam and hope others don't fall prey to it.
