| Scam contents | Called and said I had won a Readers Digest lottery. Asked if I had received my letter in the mail. Told me I won a car and $250000. |
| Comment / Review | I said Readers Digest only notifies winners by registered mail. He told me to check my mail. Of course there was no letter. He asked where the nearest Ford dealer was. He told me. I had to pay to have the van towed to my house. I had to pay the driver in cash. I told him he was a scammer. He admitted it eventually. Then he said he was trying to raise money for his mum who had a brain tumor. He said he lived in Kingston Jamaica. I did not send him any money.
